The short version
- We collect what you send us. If you request a demo or ask a question, we get your name, email, and message. That is the main way we learn who you are.
- We use analytics, not advertising. Google Analytics tells us which pages get read. We do not run ad pixels, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your information.
- This covers the website only. Client and appointment data inside the software is governed by the Paired Privacy Policy, and ultimately by the business that uses our software.
- You can ask us things. You can ask what we hold, ask us to fix or delete it, and tell us to stop emailing you.
Looking for how we handle data inside the software? That is a different document. Start with the Paired Privacy Policy, which covers the Paired mobile app, and see the Terms of Service for the service itself.
1.Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit pairedplus.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to this website and to any other page or site we operate that links to it.
The Site is operated by ProSolutions Software, Inc., a California corporation ("ProSolutions," "we," "us," or "our"). Paired Plus and Transcend Online are our salon, spa, and wellness management software products.
We have written it in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, contact us using the details in Section 21 and we will explain it.
2.This policy covers the website, not the software
Two different things are involved, and they have different privacy documents.
- This website. When you browse pairedplus.com, read our blog, request a demo, or chat with us, this policy applies.
- Our software. When you subscribe to Paired Plus or Transcend Online, the data inside the software is governed by the Paired Privacy Policy and your Terms of Service, not this page.
- A business that uses our software. If you are a client of a salon, spa, or studio that runs on Paired Plus, that business decides what happens to your appointment and client information. We process it on their behalf. Please contact that business first — they are the ones who can answer questions about your bookings, and they can reach us if they need to.
3.Information you give us
We only receive personal information from you when you choose to provide it. That happens when you:
- request a demo or a sales call using a form on the Site;
- email our sales or support team, or call us;
- start a conversation in the live chat window;
- ask to receive updates, offers, or product news;
- submit a review or testimonial, or take part in a survey; or
- apply for a job with us.
Depending on the form, that information typically includes your name, email address, business name, the message you write, and any phone number you choose to include. Our demo and pricing forms ask for your name, email address, and message.
Please do not send us payment card details, government identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive information through a general website form or by email. Software subscription payments are handled through your Sales Order and our payment processor, never through a website form.
4.Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records some technical information as you browse. This happens whether or not you fill in a form, and it is used to keep the Site working, to understand which pages are useful, and to spot abuse.
That information includes your IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, the pages you view and how long you spend on them, the page that referred you to us (including search terms where the search engine passes them along), and the date and time of your visit.
Your IP address can indicate a general geographic area — usually a city or region, not a street address. We do not use the Site to collect your precise GPS location, and the Site does not ask your browser for location permission.
5.Cookies
The Site sets very few cookies. On a normal visit, the only ones placed are two Google Analytics cookies, _ga and _ga_WQPH5SMX2G, both lasting two years. Our live chat window sets nothing until you open it and send a message, and WordPress login cookies appear only for staff who sign in to administer the Site.
We do not run advertising or social-media tracking pixels, we do not record sessions, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
The full inventory — every cookie name, what it does, how long it lasts, and how to block it — is in our Cookie Policy. Every browser also lets you view, block, and delete cookies under its privacy settings, and blocking analytics does not affect how any page on the Site works.
6.Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, which we load through Google Tag Manager, to count visits, see which pages and articles are read, understand which search terms bring people to the Site, and measure whether our pages load quickly enough on phones.
Google Analytics reports are aggregate. Google Analytics 4 does not store individual IP addresses; it uses a truncated or masked address to derive approximate location and then discards it. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from analytics data, and we do not combine it with the information you send us through a form.
Google processes this data as our service provider. You can read how Google handles it at policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
7.Live chat
The Site offers a live chat window, provided by PureChat. If you open it and send a message, we receive what you write along with your name and email address if you provide them. A chat is treated the same way as an email to our team: we use it to answer your question, and we may keep a transcript for reference and for training our team.
The chat widget sets cookies so your conversation survives a page change. It loads for every visitor, so the widget's own code is contacted when you open a page — but no message reaches us unless you type one. PureChat's own privacy practices are described at purechat.com/privacy.
8.Embedded video
We publish video on YouTube, and some pages on the Site describe or reference that video. We do not embed a YouTube player on the Site. Nothing is loaded from YouTube when you browse a page here, and YouTube sets no cookies on you as a result of visiting pairedplus.com.
If you follow a link from the Site to one of our videos on YouTube, you leave the Site and YouTube's own privacy policy and cookies apply from that point. The same is true of the social links in our footer.
10.How we use the information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your inquiry, schedule the demo or call you asked for, and answer sales and support questions;
- provide the information, pricing detail, or documentation you request;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, including diagnosing errors and measuring page performance;
- understand which content is useful, so we can decide what to write and which pages to update or retire;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse, scraping, and attacks on the Site;
- send you product news or offers, but only where you have asked for them or where the law allows it, and always with a way to stop;
- publish a review or testimonial, only with your permission;
- evaluate job applications; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Website Terms of Use.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use website-visitor data to decide the price you are offered.
11.Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand it to advertising networks. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that run parts of the Site for us, under contracts that limit them to using the data on our instructions. This includes our website hosting and content management, Google (analytics and tag management), PureChat (live chat), and the providers that deliver our email and process form submissions.
- Our own team. Sales, support, and marketing staff at ProSolutions who need the information to answer you.
- Professional advisers. Lawyers, accountants, and auditors, where necessary and under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal reasons. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or a security breach.
- A business transfer. If we merge with, acquire, or are acquired by another company, or sell substantially all of our assets, visitor information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With your direction. Whenever you ask us to, or give us permission to, share something.
Aggregate statistics that cannot identify you — such as how many visitors read a page in a month — are not restricted by this section.
12.Sale, sharing and targeted advertising
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, "selling" and "sharing" have specific meanings that go beyond money changing hands; "sharing" includes disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
Because we do not carry out these activities, there is nothing to opt out of today — but Section 13 explains how to make a request if that ever changes, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal described in Section 19.
13.Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to:
- Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to;
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and limit the use of sensitive personal information — neither of which we currently do;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower level of service because you made a request.
How to make a request. Email Info@ProsolutionsSoftware.com with the subject line "Privacy Request," or call (800) 710-3879. Tell us what you want us to do and the email address you used with us, so we can find your records.
Verification. To protect your information, we will ask for enough detail to confirm that the request comes from you or someone authorized to act for you. If you use an authorized agent, we may ask for written permission signed by you. We respond within 45 days, and if we need more time we will tell you why and may extend that by a further 45 days.
14.Other U.S. state privacy rights
Several other states — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, and Montana — give residents similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling.
We extend the rights described in Section 13 to residents of those states, and we do not carry out the activities you would be opting out of. If you disagree with how we handled a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the word "Appeal"; we will review it and respond in writing. You may also contact your state attorney general.
15.Visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you visit the Site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, ProSolutions Software, Inc. is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
Our legal bases. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site and in responding to business inquiries; on your consent for live chat, for any non-essential cookie where consent is required, and for marketing emails; on performance of a contract or steps taken at your request when you ask for a demo, quote, or support; and on legal obligation where we must keep or disclose information.
Your rights. You may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct or erase it, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that already happened. To exercise any of these, contact us using Section 21.
Complaints. You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
International transfers. We are based in the United States, and the service providers listed in Section 11 may process information there. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Marketing. You can stop marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by asking us directly. We will still send transactional messages about a subscription you have.
16.How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as long as the law requires.
- Sales and demo inquiries. Kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a conversation can be picked up again and so we can answer questions about past discussions.
- Support and chat records. Kept long enough to resolve the issue and to maintain a record of what we told you.
- Analytics data. Retained for the period set in our Google Analytics property, which is no longer than fourteen months under Google's current maximum.
- Server and security logs. Kept for a short period, long enough for troubleshooting and security investigations.
- Marketing lists. Kept until you unsubscribe or stop engaging with our messages.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous so it can no longer be linked to you.
17.How we protect information
We use technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold: encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Site, restricted staff access on a need-to-know basis, and routine updates to the software that runs the Site.
No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur. If a breach affects your personal information and the law requires us to notify you, we will do so.
18.Children's privacy
The Site is meant for adults running or researching a business, and it is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us using Section 21 and we will delete it.
19.Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is still no agreed standard for how a website should respond to it, so the Site does not act on that signal, though we also do not track you across other websites for advertising.
We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which is sent by some browsers and extensions, as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information. As explained in Section 12, we do not sell or share personal information in the first place, so a GPC signal needs no further action from us.
20.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Site changes, when we add or remove a tool, or when the law changes. The date at the top of the page always shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects what we do with information we already hold, we will make that clear on this page and, where the law requires, ask for your consent.

9.Social media links
Our footer and some pages include links to our Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube profiles. These are ordinary links, not embedded plug-ins or tracking pixels. Nothing is sent to those platforms until you click one and leave our Site, at which point their own privacy policies apply.
If you contact us through a social platform rather than through the Site, that platform's privacy policy governs what it does with your message, and ours governs what we do with it once we receive it.
